NHL Fantasy Hockey 2016-2017: Team Schedules by Week, Night of the Week, and Fantasy Playoffs

Here is a quick spreadsheet that breaks down each team’s number of games per week (Yahoo Fantasy Hockey Week) throughout the upcoming season. The spreadsheet allows you to customize which fantasy playoff weeks your league uses so that you can see how many games in the playoffs each team has – the more games, the more valuable those players will become in March/April.

The other sheet shows games by day of the week for all NHL teams. The teams that play more games on “off nights” could be more valuable because you are less likely to bench players on these nights (Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday). Hopefully this can help you plan your draft or serve as a tie-breaker for your later keepers. Enjoy, and as always let me know if you’d like to see something else added!

  1. Was looking to create something like this myself but could not find good enough scheduling data where I did not have to clean too much, thank you. Great resource.
